They support Civil Rights with a strong message of real love, genuine compassion, and unconditional acceptance for all members of the ever-changing world. We believe that Justice demands Freedom, Dignity, and Equal Rights for All People, without exception.

As part of our mission to engage, empower and improve the quality of life in the Newtown community, we organize such projects as:

  • Community Beautification: With the gracious help of community volunteers and Newtown Nation members, we have started a community beautification initiative called Curb Appeal.
  • Newtown Farmers Market: Join us at our SNAP/EBT-friendly market at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park, 2601 Cocoanut Ave., Sarasota, Saturday, 10 am to 5 pm.
  • Community Events: We love to celebrate our community by hosting various events! From We Are One! Multicultural Festival to Big Mama’s Collard Greens Fest to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Day of Service, we honor our community’s culture, talent, and friendship.
