Newtown Nation puts forth every available resource to create a better platform for people to receive an honest and sincere helping hand. We reach out to those forgotten by our political leaders and placed in a position of despair due to their economic, financial, and cultural hindrances.
Newtown is one of Sarasota’s oldest African American neighborhoods. Yet, according to the 2020 Census data, the population of North Sarasota, including Newtown, is 32 percent below the poverty level.
