Newtown Clean-up

The Newtown neighborhood of Sarasota, in collaboration with the Newtown Nation, Newtown Farmers Market, New College of Florida and the Cross College Alliance, is holding its annual community clean-up, Saturday, Nov. 13. Volunteers, please meet up at 9 a.m. at the Redevelopment Office, 1782 Dr. Martin Luther King Way, Sarasota.

The clean-up is an excellent opportunity for people to throw away any household items, junk and yard waste they may have collected over the years and is a beautiful way to work together to spruce up Newtown.

Please note the clean-up will not haul anything away except trash and debris that has been picked up or bagged and placed along the curb.

So bring a friend, your family, a group or your entire organization, and we will work together to make a difference.

Volunteering is a great way to show pride in your town!

Let’s make Newtown sparkle!
